final of the Dynamic Place Awards 2005. The Awards, now in their
fifth year, celebrate excellence in place making and innovation in
Scotland. The winners for the 2005 contest will be announced at a
ceremony at Ratho Adventure Centre, near Edinburgh, on November 24.

New Team Member at
CBIP
CBIP is delighted to
welcome Maureen Munro who joined the team in September as a Business
Adviser. Prior to CBIP, Maureen ran her own consultancy business and
worked as Marketing Manager for Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce. She
brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience which will
greatly benefit the project.
As well as assisting
local individuals with their business development requirements,
Maureen will focus on developing local Social Enterprises and provide
advice and support for sustaining community groups. As part of this
Maureen will deliver an upskilling course on Marketing for Projects
and Social Enterprises on 31st October at Capacity
Building Project.
FREE Upskilling for
Business Success
Craigmillar Business
Incubator Project offers a series of FREE workshops for new, young,
existing and growing businesses. The courses aim to widen your
business knowledge and help you run your business more effectively.
The courses are open to any business, project or resident in the
Greater Craigmillar area and will be held at Castlebrae Business
Centre, Peffer Place, Edinburgh (unless otherwise stated).
There are currently no
